Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, transforms your backyard into a vibrant battle arena. Drawing inspiration from Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers a unique twist on tower defense gameplay.
The Plantoons Gameplay:
Your garden becomes a gladiatorial contest where plants wage war against relentless waves of weeds. Strategic placement is key, but you'll also level up and upgrade your plant warriors to withstand increasingly aggressive weed invasions. The game starts with selecting a plant from your arsenal and deploying it on the battlefield to defend against the encroaching weeds.
Progressing through Plantoons unlocks reward cards that enhance your plant army. These cards offer various boosts, including attack power, defense fortification, and pollen production increases. Strategic plant placement within the meadow is crucial for building an effective defensive line.
Each plant possesses unique abilities and stats. Successfully completing challenges expands your deck in the Card Bank, allowing for customized and enhanced setups.
