Trade your own lifeforce to push forward
Flame Keeper follows Ignis, a sentient ember tasked with reigniting the Eternal Flame across the decaying realm of Orbis. While skilled in combat, Ignis must sacrifice his health to recharge each Fire Camp he reaches. As he strives to restore light to the world, he gradually consumes himself in the process.
The gameplay features punch combos, flame dashes, powerful stomps, and finishers capable of crushing multiple enemies simultaneously. Stamina is both your greatest asset and limitation; failing to manage it wisely can leave you overwhelmed and vulnerable.
Difficulty escalates with each biome, introducing more diverse enemy types that require constant adaptation. The Bestiary tracks enemy strengths and weaknesses over time, though some lessons will still be learned through trial and error.
Character progression centers on enhancing Ignis via skills and passive abilities. Players collect seeds from defeated foes to unlock new moves and complete objectives to earn runes, enabling a wide variety of character builds.
Vulpis Village serves as the central hub at the start of every run, offering unique gameplay elements that evolve based on your progress. Here, you can upgrade abilities and structures using resources gathered during exploration.
