Quick Links

Streamline your Path of Exile 2 looting experience with loot filters! These invaluable tools minimize on-screen clutter and highlight crucial items, especially beneficial in the later game with increased item drops. While using a controller or playing on console might seem to complicate things, loot filters are readily available for PlayStation and Xbox users. This guide simplifies the process.

How to Link Path of Exile 2 and Console Accounts

To utilize loot filters on consoles, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account through the Path of Exile 1 website. Here's how:

  1. Access the Path of Exile website and log in.
  2. Locate your account name in the upper-left corner and click it.
  3. Select "Manage Account" from the options presented on the right.
  4. Under "Secondary Login," click "Connect" for either PlayStation or Xbox.

You'll be redirected to log in with your existing console account. Complete the connection process to link your accounts.

Finding and Using Loot Filters

With your accounts linked, return to your profile page on the Path of Exile website. Click the "Item Filters" button, then select the "Item Filter Ladder" hyperlink. This opens a page listing available filters.

Choose "PoE 2" from the filter selection dropdown menu. Browse the filters and select one that suits your needs. New players might find NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters ideal. Click "Follow" on the chosen filter's page.

Finally, launch Path of Exile 2. Navigate to the Options menu, then the Game tab. At the top, you'll find the "Item Filter" option. Select your followed filter from the dropdown menu and save your changes. Your in-game item drops will now be visually and audibly differentiated based on your selected filter.
