Parallel Experiment: A Co-op Crime Thriller Puzzler Coming to Steam and Mobile
Eleven Puzzles' highly anticipated co-op crime thriller puzzler, Parallel Experiment, is set to launch on Steam this March. A mobile demo is also planned for iOS and Android later in 2025, with a full mobile release to follow.
This intriguing title draws inspiration from cooperative puzzlers like Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes. Players take on the roles of detectives Ally and Old Dog, working together across separate locations to solve a complex mystery. Communication and collaboration are key, as players must share clues and coordinate their actions to overcome over 80 unique puzzles.
The game boasts a retro-style in-game notebook for clue tracking, cooperative dialogue, a captivating noir comic book aesthetic, and even playful features allowing detectives to annoy each other (knocking on windows, playful pokes, etc.).
What's in the box?!
Cross-platform play is a key feature, offering seamless collaboration between desktop and mobile players. While desktop players can easily communicate via platforms like Discord, the mobile version introduces unique opportunities for in-person interaction and creative communication strategies (or distractions!).
While the co-op puzzle genre isn't new, Parallel Experiment benefits from extensive testing to ensure a polished and enjoyable experience on mobile devices.
