New Paldean Pokemon Added in Upcoming Pokemon GO Event

Summary

  • Shroodle and Grafaiai debut in Pokemon GO during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event starting January 15.
  • Special research to save Shadow Palkia and encounters with new Shadow Pokemon will be featured.

Niantic has announced that Shroodle and its evolution Grafaiai will make their debut in Pokemon GO during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, which kicks off on January 15. This event not only introduces these two new monsters but also brings a host of exciting bonuses and raid opportunities for Pokemon GO players.

Shroodle, a Poison/Normal-type Pokemon from the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet games, features a large head and eyes that dominate its small body. At level 28, Shroodle evolves into Grafaiai, a primate-like Pokemon resembling a lemur, known for its large eyes and distinctive three-fingered hands. Both creatures have appeared in the Pokemon Horizons series, adding to their allure for fans.

During the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, from January 15 at 12 am to January 19 at 8 pm local time, Shroodle will be available in 12 km eggs, and players can evolve it into Grafaiai using 50 Shroodle Candy. Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokeStops and in balloons, offering players the chance to help Shadow Pokemon forget the Charged Attack Frustration with a Charged TM. Additionally, taking a snapshot during the event may lead to an encounter with a fashion week-themed Croagunk.
