Nintendo has confirmed that pre-orders for the Switch 2 will open in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The previously announced launch price of $449.99 and the release date of June 5 remain unchanged.
In an update on its website, Nintendo also stated that Switch 2 accessory pricing will be "adjusted from the April 2 announcement due to shifting market factors." The company noted that "further price changes for any Nintendo product may occur depending on market conditions."
While the base console price stays the same, Nintendo confirmed the Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will still cost $499.99. Pricing for both physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World ($79.99) and Donkey Kong Bananza ($69.99) will also remain as planned at launch.

Originally, Nintendo intended to begin Switch 2 pre-orders on April 9. The company postponed the date to "evaluate the possible effects of tariffs and evolving market conditions."
