Netflix Games Welcomes the Breakup Simulator, Thirsty Suitors
Forget dating sims; Thirsty Suitors, a narrative-driven action-adventure game, flips the script with its unique breakup simulator concept. Soon available on Netflix Games, this title is already a hit on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam).
Developed by Outerloop Games, Thirsty Suitors boasts impressive accolades, including a 2022 Tribeca Games Award win and nominations for the 2024 New York Game Awards (Herman Melville Award for Best Writing) and the 2024 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Video Game.
Set in the 1990s, this adventure explores themes of culture, relationships, and self-discovery. Players battle exes in turn-based RPG combat, navigate familial relationships, and ultimately, confront their own identity. A dynamic mood system in combat adds a strategic layer, exploiting enemy vulnerabilities.
