NetEase has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for their popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile. After a four-year run on Android, the game will officially shut down. This mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful title, originally released on PC in June 2016, launched in April 2020. However, the PC and console versions will remain operational.
Dead by Daylight Mobile offered a thrilling 4v1 asymmetrical horror experience, pitting Killers against Survivors in a tense game of cat and mouse. Players could choose to stalk and sacrifice Survivors as a Killer, or strive for survival against a relentless pursuer.

The official shutdown date for Dead by Daylight Mobile is March 20th, 2025. The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. Players who already have the game installed can continue playing until the final shutdown date.

For players wishing to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package as an incentive to switch platforms. Existing players may also receive loyalty rewards based on their in-game spending and progress.
