Missed the first Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta? A second round is confirmed for the first two weeks of February! Following the success of the initial beta, this second phase provides another opportunity to experience the game before its official February 28th launch. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto announced the news via the official Monster Hunter YouTube channel.

The Open Beta will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. Available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, it includes new content, notably the addition of Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series.

Character data transfers from the first beta to the second, and then to the full game upon release. However, game progress won't carry over. Beta participants receive in-game rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a bonus item pack for a smoother start to the main game.
