Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has shared all the juicy details to get fans ready for what's coming. This season promises new challenges, weapons, a Season Pass, and, of course, new monsters to hunt.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the official kick-off, players can enjoy a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This marks its grand debut before its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Once Season 5 launches, expect to see Glavenus and Arzuros making their way into the game, adding to the excitement.
Weapon balance is also getting some love, with tweaks designed to make every weapon type more enjoyable and effective. The Sword & Shield will see a significant buff, making it easier to target breakable parts like tails. Plus, the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, leading to more satisfying combos.
The Guard skill is not being left behind. Previously, leveling up Guard barely made a difference, but now, higher skill levels will effectively reduce damage when blocking. Keep an eye out for more tweaks that will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
For those struggling with overflowing inventories, Season 5 introduces an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This expansion adds an extra 250 slots, giving you more room to store your hard-earned loot.
As part of Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary celebration on March 17th, a new feature will be introduced. This feature allows you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for fantastic rewards. You can expect to find Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards among the items up for grabs.
So, gear up and get ready for the new season by downloading the game from the Google Play Store.
