Updated January 14th, 2025, by Usama Ali: Swap Packs offer players greater control over their sticker collection, mitigating the frustration of duplicate or undesirable cards. The ability to "swap" or "redraw" stickers within a pack (up to a certain number of times) significantly improves the odds of obtaining needed stickers. This guide has been updated to include additional methods for obtaining Swap Packs in Monopoly GO.
How Do Swap Packs Work in Monopoly GO?
Swap Packs allow you to replace any sticker within the pack. This means unwanted stickers can be exchanged for potentially rarer and more valuable ones, bringing you closer to completing your Monopoly GO album.
Each Swap Pack contains four stickers: typically one five-star, two four-star, and one three-star sticker. Before claiming your stickers, you can swap any of them for new ones of the same tier. This is a fantastic way to eliminate duplicates and improve your chances of acquiring higher-tier stickers.
Swapping a sticker yields a random replacement from the same tier. You can swap up to three stickers per pack. Once you're happy with your selection, click "Collect" to add them to your collection.
While swapping is random, it provides more control over your sticker acquisition. Remember, trading duplicates with friends remains a viable option for obtaining missing stickers.
How To Get More Swap Packs in Monopoly GO?
Initially introduced as a milestone reward in Monopoly GO's first Peg-E Sticker Drop, Swap Packs are now obtainable through several avenues:
Gold Vault
The Gold Vault, the highest-tier reward in the Sticker for Rewards section, offers a Swap Pack among other valuable prizes. While previously costing 1,000 Stars, Scopely has reduced the price to 700 Stars. Stars are earned by collecting duplicate stickers; each duplicate contributes a set number of Stars regardless of rarity.
The Gold Vault can be opened daily (once every 24 hours) and contains:
- 500 Dice
- One Blue Sticker Pack (four stickers, one guaranteed 4-star)
- One Purple Sticker Pack (six stickers, one guaranteed 5-star)
- One Swap Pack
Minigames
Various minigames, including Peg-E games, Treasure Hunts, and Partner Events, may occasionally reward Swap Packs upon reaching specific milestones or completing challenges. Active participation in all minigames increases your chances of earning Swap Packs.
