Ahmed Alameen, a writer and filmmaker, presents his debut title, a narrative-driven puzzle game inspired by Mesopotamian history. Step into the shoes of Huda, a young woman who embarks on a quest to uncover the truth behind her father's vanishing twenty years prior, a mystery further complicated by the revelation of a previously unknown sibling.
Alameen, initially collaborating on the project, took the reins after a team split, mastering game design to complete his vision. The gameplay involves classic point-and-click mechanics, challenging you to piece together images, decipher codes, and explore stunning, albeit uniquely rendered, environments. The game blends the atmosphere of titles like Myst and Heaven's Vault with the literary style of H.P. Lovecraft.
Alameen's innovative approach utilizes a mix of 2D and 360-degree images, even in the meticulously crafted, frame-by-frame cutscenes. This technique ensures high-fidelity visuals while maintaining compatibility with lower-spec PCs.
