Captain America: Brave New World has arrived, prompting another look at the Marvel Cinematic Universe's impressive 35-film collection. But which MCU film reigns supreme in your heart? Do you cherish the early origin stories like Iron Man, or are you captivated by the epic team-ups that defined the Infinity Saga? Share your preferences using our interactive tier list tool below.
The sheer number of films makes choosing difficult. Remember, this list includes only Kevin Feige's MCU productions, excluding Sony's Marvel ventures (sorry, X-Men – except Wolverine). My personal tier list, reflecting my viewing enjoyment over the years, is shown here:
Unfortunately, Brave New World falls short of expectations for me, landing in the D tier due to what I consider the MCU's most cumbersome script yet. My placement of 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine in the bottom tier might surprise some, but it simply didn't resonate with me. (You can find a detailed explanation here). However, I don't believe it's the MCU's absolute worst; that title currently belongs to Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, an easy D-tier pick.
Conversely, my top tier features five exceptional films. Captain America: Civil War and Winter Soldier easily earn S-tier status for their effective exploration of the MCU's emotional core and paranoid espionage themes, respectively. Thor: Ragnarok stands out as one of the funniest comedies of the last decade, and Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame masterfully concluded the franchise's most crucial chapter.
Disagree? Believe No Way Home is the best of the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy? Think Black Panther deserves an S-tier ranking? Create your own MCU movie tier list below and compare your rankings (S, A, B, C, and D tiers) with the IGN community.
