Second Dinner has unleashed the latest magical season of Marvel Snap - Masters of the Arcane, inviting players to explore the game's mystical underbelly and some of Marvel's most obscure supernatural characters.
Dark Magic Rises in Marvel Snap's New Season
Forget the usual superhero spotlight - this season shines on Marvel's often-overlooked magical roster. Nicholas Scratch and Morgan Le Fay burst onto the scene first, with the full spellbinding cast appearing gradually through July 1.
The mystical lineup includes heavy hitters like:
- Merlin (season pass exclusive)
- The Ancient One
- Nightmare
- Dormammu
- Clea
- Kid Omega
- Cobra
- Jennifer Kale
The season also introduces new magical mechanics, like The Ancient One's training grounds - the illusion-filled Astral Plane location. Merlin proves particularly game-changing with his ability to swap your weakest card for bonus energy next turn, potentially turning matches upside down.
Experimental Magic Gameplay
From June 16-25, players can experience High Voltage: Overdrive - a charged-up variant where five card plays trigger a reactor explosion for chaotic results. Complete event missions to unlock Kid Omega and Cobra.
Two mystical locations alter gameplay:
- Camelot: After turn five, boosts all cards here to 5 Power
- Astral Plane: Creates zero-Power copies of your cards each turn
Big changes come June 10 as Second Dinner takes full publishing control - handling everything from customer service to store transactions internally moving forward.
