Marvel Rivals Season 1: Dracula, Fantastic Four, and Balance Adjustments
NetEase Games' latest developer update unveils exciting changes for Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST. This season introduces Dracula as the primary antagonist and welcomes the Fantastic Four to the roster. Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debut immediately, with Human Torch and The Thing arriving within six to seven weeks.
The Season 1 battle pass, priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $10), offers 10 skins and rewards players with 600 Lattice and 600 Units upon completion. Three new maps and a fresh game mode, "Doom Match," will also enhance the gameplay experience.
Significant balancing adjustments are planned. Hela and Hawkeye, deemed overpowered in Season 0, will receive nerfs. Conversely, mobility-focused Vanguards like Captain America and Venom will receive buffs to improve their effectiveness. Further adjustments include buffs for Wolverine and Storm to promote diverse strategies, and enhancements for Cloak and Dagger to increase their team compatibility. Jeff the Land Shark's early warning system will also be tweaked to better reflect his ultimate's hitbox. While Jeff's ultimate's power level is under review, no significant changes have been announced.
The developer update remains silent on adjustments to the Seasonal Bonus feature, a point of contention among players. Season 1 promises a substantial content update, generating considerable anticipation among the player base.
