Since its launch in October 2023, Ludus: Merge Arena has been creating quite the buzz in the gaming world. This strategic RPG has reached a significant milestone, boasting over 5 million players globally and generating nearly $3 million in monthly revenue. In light of this success, publisher Top App Games is gearing up to roll out a substantial update soon.
The Big Update: Clan Wars
Set to drop at the end of March, this update focuses on enhancing clan mechanics with the introduction of three new tabs: Clan Shop, Clan Battle Pass, and the highlight, Clan War. Clan Wars will occur twice a month, lasting eight days in total—five days of intense battles followed by three days for resolution.
Success in Clan Wars hinges on the use of flags. Every player starts with two, but premium subscribers get an extra flag, totaling three. Additionally, the Battle Pass can grant one or two more flags, allowing premium players to deploy up to five flags during the war.
These flags are crucial for earning points in Ludus: Merge Arena, and they can be utilized in two distinct ways. The first is through regular PvP matches against random opponents. The second is the Assault mode, where players target enemy base structures.
During each Clan War, six clans will compete against each other. At the end of the event, the top 100 clans will receive exclusive rewards, including cosmetic upgrades and a prestigious golden clan name that remains displayed until the next war.
The Clan Shop is another exciting addition, allowing players to spend a special currency earned from participating in Clan Wars. This much-anticipated update is expected to further boost the game's already growing player base.
