The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production for the much-anticipated fifth and final season of *The Witcher* is now underway, with new photos of Liam Hemsworth stepping into the iconic role of Geralt de Rivia surfacing online. These seemingly leaked set photos, available on the Witcher fan site Redanian Intelligence, showcase the *Hunger Games* actor donning Geralt's signature long blonde hair and full costume. Fans can also spot familiar faces like Meng'er Zhang as Milva and Joey Batey reprising his role as Jaskier, who have been part of the series since Henry Cavill led the cast. Hemsworth was announced to take over from Cavill starting in Season 4 and continuing into the fifth and final season back in October 2022.

In addition to these exciting glimpses, set images also reveal new characters joining the fray in Season 4, who will carry over into the final season. Among them is the legendary actor Laurence Fishburne, known for his role in *Morbius*, playing Emiel Reigs.
These leaked photos hint that Season 5 might draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski's *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers guiding him towards druids. However, with Season 4 still unreleased, the storyline could take many unexpected turns before fans can piece together the full narrative.
It's not just Cavill who has left the series; Kim Bodnia, who played Geralt's father figure and mentor Vesemir, will also not return for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to announce Bodnia's replacement for the role, and an official release date for Season 4 remains undisclosed.
