Get ready, LEGO and *The Simpsons* fans! LEGO has just announced the launch of a thrilling new set: The Simpsons: Krusty Burger. This minifigure-scale set is brimming with nostalgia and packed with Easter eggs from the classic era of the show. Priced at $209.99, this set is aimed at fans aged 18 and above. It will be available for purchase starting June 4, but if you're a LEGO Insider, you can snag it early starting June 1 (sign up for free here to get in on the action).
It's been a while since LEGO last ventured into the world of *The Simpsons*. The last releases were back in 2018 with the Brickheadz models featuring Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, there were just two sets: the detailed 2,523-piece Simpsons house in 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart in 2015. Both of these sets have since been retired, making the announcement of the Krusty Burger set a delightful surprise for fans who thought the LEGO Simpsons franchise might be over.
LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger
Comprising 1,635 pieces, the Krusty Burger set measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its exterior design is reminiscent of McDonald's, complete with a drive-thru menu and window. What's more, the entire build can open and close on a hinge, revealing intricately detailed interiors including a kitchen, a bathroom, and a dining area. In addition to the restaurant itself, you'll get two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."
The set comes with seven minifigures to bring the scene to life: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders who buy the set between June 1 and June 7, either online or at a LEGO Store, will receive a special gift with purchase: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, while supplies last.
