Ah, the medieval era—known for the Black Plague, religious intolerance, and a short life expectancy. It wasn't the best time to be alive, but they sure knew how to party. While they didn't enjoy pro wrestling or football, jousting was their thrill. Now, you can live out your bone-breaking fantasies with Knight Lancer.
Knight Lancer is a physics-based jousting game where your objective is to unseat your opponent from their horse, sending them flying in a spectacular ragdoll mess. As your lance shatters on impact, you must keep it on target while careening towards your opponent, timing the angle and impact perfectly so that the three pieces of your shattered lance strike the opponent, scoring an instant win.
Knight Lancer offers 18 story missions and an endless free-play mode. A recent update introduced a new mechanic: shield positioning, which adds a layer of strategy to the seemingly mindless violence. With this addition, the game becomes even more engaging and challenging.
Have at thee! Knight Lancer is a testament to the fact that simple, straightforward, and impressively fun games are hidden gems on mobile platforms. Unlike gacha games or action RPGs, Knight Lancer is a great physics-based battler reminiscent of games like Nidhogg.
You can get Knight Lancer now on iOS. Unfortunately, there's no news yet on a potential release on Google Play, but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
