Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Mutt Location
While there's a side quest involved in finding Mutt, here's a shortcut. He's near a wolf cave southwest of the Nomads' Camp, just east of the river bathing spot. See the screenshot below for his exact location.

The easiest route is fast traveling to the Nomads' Camp, then heading southwest into the forest. This path will likely lead you directly to the cave. You'll hear Mutt whining as you approach. Follow the sound, and you'll find him with a few wolves near the cave entrance.

Approaching triggers a cutscene introducing Mutt and the wolves, along with a tutorial on giving him commands in battle. You can choose to fight or flee. Fighting the wolves provides a good opportunity to level up your skills, as they aren't overly challenging.
After dealing with the wolves, Mutt will be yours. Hold L1 while looking at him to interact, allowing you to feed him or send him home.
Finding Mutt During the Invaders Side Quest
Interestingly, you might stumble upon the wolf cave while completing the "Invaders" side quest, particularly if you interact with the Cumans. After drinking with them, Henry follows Vasko uphill for more liquor, leading directly to the cave. This triggers the cutscene with Mutt and the wolves, but attempting this while drunk and in the dark is significantly harder.
It's highly recommended to rescue Mutt before continuing the "Invaders" quest. Dealing with wolves while drunk and in the dark is extremely difficult, and even fleeing can be perilous due to poor visibility.
That's how to find Mutt in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Check out The Escapist for more game tips and information.
