Maintaining your footwear is crucial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This guide details how to acquire and repair shoes, ensuring you're always ready for adventure.
Acquiring Shoes:
While you begin with a pair, replacement options abound. Loot chests and fallen enemies (poachers, etc.) often yield new footwear. Alternatively, purchase shoes from vendors. Tailors offer shoes, but cobblers provide superior quality options. Locate cobblers using their distinctive map marker (three red circles). Cobbler Matthew in Trosky, for example, also sells horse gear and crafting kits.
Repairing Shoes:
Several methods exist for shoe repair. Cobblers and blacksmiths offer repair services; the cost depends on your Craftsmanship skill level (higher levels yield discounts). Alternatively, self-repair is possible using a Cobbler's Kit.
Obtain Cobbler's Kits from various vendors (cobblers, blacksmiths), chests, or looted NPCs. To use a kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button ("E" on PC). A repair menu appears, listing repairable items. Faded items require a higher Craftsmanship skill level. Select items and use the interact button again to initiate repair. Blacksmith's Kits function similarly for other equipment. While vendor repairs are convenient, self-repair is a viable option for skilled players. Maintaining well-maintained gear is advantageous throughout your journey.
