Not only do I read more with my Kindle, but the e-ink technology offers a paper-like reading experience in any lighting condition, from artificial light to bright sunlight. Since it only consumes energy when turning pages, using the backlight, or when Wi-Fi is on, you can go weeks or even months between charges in Airplane mode—often long enough for me to forget where I left my charger!
