Japanese Rhythm Game Kamitsubaki City Ensemble Drops Soon On Android

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch

Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised to launch on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for a budget-friendly $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and post-apocalyptic storytelling.

A World Rebuilt Through Music

The game unfolds in a world ravaged by destruction, where AI girls, the sole survivors, embark on a mission to restore harmony through music. The narrative gradually reveals the story behind the apocalypse and the AI girls' existence as players progress. Players are tasked with uncovering the truth and aiding these girls in their world-rebuilding endeavor.

Gameplay and Features

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant musical experience. The rhythm gameplay offers four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro), starting with four lanes and escalating to seven for a challenging experience. The core game includes 48 songs, with a season pass offering continuous new tracks.

The game's soundtrack boasts a selection of popular tracks from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including hits like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra."
