Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell adventure, is launching a limited Android test in China! From June 28th to July 8th, Chinese players can experience a free demo on TapTap, offering a glimpse into the Gungeon's chaotic world.
This rogue-like adventure remains fundamentally unchanged: unique runs, a diverse cast of quirky heroes, each with their own reasons for descending into the bullet-infested depths, and a constantly shifting labyrinthine Gungeon layout. Each playthrough presents new enemies and challenges.
The mobile demo boasts redesigned controls and a user interface optimized for touchscreens, allowing for fluid dodging and rapid-fire combat. A two-player online co-op mode lets you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
What Awaits in the Demo?
The demo lets you explore the first two floors, battling unusual gun-toting enemies and challenging bullet-hell bosses. You'll also gain access to a selection of the game's vast weapon arsenal, ranging from standard pistols to bizarre, inventive firearms.
This test phase is crucial for gathering player feedback. The developers encourage reporting bugs, glitches, and optimization suggestions to help refine the mobile experience. Find the Enter the Gungeon Android test on the TapTap page.
Global Release?
Currently, the test is exclusive to China, with a Chinese language interface. While a worldwide release date remains unannounced, the game's popularity suggests a global launch is likely in the future.
