Hello and welcome to another week of noteworthy game updates! This week, Shaun tackles a bumper crop of updates, including more than one free-to-play matching puzzle game – but don't worry, there are some exciting non-puzzle titles in the mix too! (And yes, you get to witness Shaun's triumphant defeat of King Robert once again!) You can always keep up-to-date by checking the TouchArcade forums, but this weekly summary highlights the updates you might have missed. Let's dive in!

Peglin (Free): This week's coveted UMMSotW (Update Most Meriting Shaun's Seal of Approval) award goes to Peglin! Version 1.0 introduces Cruciball challenges up to level 20, a new Slime Hive mini-boss encounter, and a wealth of tweaks, bug fixes, and balance improvements. A solid update for an already excellent game.

Brawl Stars (Free): Get ready for some Brawl Stars action! This update features a SpongeBob SquarePants event, the addition of two new Brawlers (Moe – Mythic and Kenji – Legendary), and several new Hypercharges for existing characters. The rollout will happen over the next couple of months, with the SpongeBob event likely launching soon.

stitch (Paid): More Hoops! That's the essence of this update to the relaxing and rewarding stitch. This update introduces new Hoops puzzles, this time with a martial arts theme (loosely, of course). More puzzles are always welcome in a good puzzle game.

Genshin Impact (Free): It's Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch! This major update introduces the new Natlan region, three new characters (Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina), new weapons, events, stories, and artifacts. A substantial update, but consistent with the game's usual pattern.

Temple Run: Puzzle Adventure (Apple Arcade): Another matching puzzle game update, this time on Apple Arcade. One hundred new levels and refreshed tournaments await players of this Temple Run spin-off.

Jetpack Joyride 2 (Apple Arcade): In this update, Barry Steakfries escapes to the one place untouched by capitalism: SPACE! (Let's just say it's a significant event.) A shout-out to the legendary Tim Curry!

Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop: New character episodes for Sig, Carbuncle, and Rafisol in Adventure Mode, a new playable character (Meena), and seven new music tracks are included in this update.

Hearthstone (Free): Battlegrounds Season 8 ("Trinkets & Travels") has arrived, bringing new content and the Trinket Shop (replacing Buddies).

Toon Blast (Free): Fifty new levels and a bee-themed episode are featured in this update.

Royal Match (Free): One hundred new levels and a new jousting arena are added. (King Robert's fate remains... uncertain.)
