Current Co-op Status:
The short answer is no. Currently, Infinity Nikki does not feature any co-op multiplayer functionality, neither local nor online. This was confirmed even in pre-release beta versions and review builds. While social features like adding friends and sharing UIDs are available, collaborative gameplay is absent. If you envisioned exploring the open world with friends, similar to Genshin Impact, this feature is not yet implemented.
Future Co-op Prospects:
Initial PS5 listings for Infinity Nikki suggested online multiplayer support for up to five players, fueling speculation about co-op. However, these listings have since been updated to reflect single-player only.
