What is Equipment?
In addition to leveling up, equipping your heroes with the right gear is a crucial way to amplify their specific stats. Idle Heroes features six distinct equipment slots for each hero:
- Weapons
- Armor
- Shoes
- Accessories
- Artifacts
- Gems/stones (Treasures)
Artifacts within the same tier share identical upgrading costs and engulf values. As previously mentioned, artifacts are categorized by rarity, listed here from highest to lowest:
- Orange
- Red
- Green
- Purple
- Yellow
- Blue
The Orange and Red artifacts represent the pinnacle of artifact tiers. Certain artifacts are uniquely linked to specific heroes, granting them exclusive abilities and stats upon equipping. These exclusive artifact versions are generally superior to their standard counterparts and come with an additional property that's only accessible to heroes of the corresponding faction, indicated by the faction icon.
