Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Arrives December 4th
Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," launches on mobile devices December 4th. This update serves as the final chapter before the Astral Express journeys to the enigmatic Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.
The Penacony Saga Concludes
Version 2.7 wraps up the Penacony storyline. Following Black Swan's suggestion, the crew prepares for their departure, reconnecting with friends and enjoying a farewell performance at the Grand Theater. This performance introduces two new characters: Sunday and Fugue.
Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, aided by Wonweek, delivers a spectacular final act. A 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate ability focuses on energy regeneration, bestowing "The Beatified" buff on a teammate and their summon.
Fugue, previously known as Tingyun, makes her comeback after the events of Version 1.2. Recovering from a near-fatal encounter, she's now a 5-star Fire character specializing in breaking enemy Toughness with her fiery Ultimate.
New Features and Events
Version 2.7 introduces exciting new features:
- Warp Events: General Jing Yuan and Firefly return in the first and second halves of the update's warp events.
- Party Car: A luxurious addition to the Astral Express, featuring a marble bar, a robotic bartender, and the breathtaking backdrop of the Cosmos.
- Cosmic Home Décor Guide: Customize your own space aboard the Astral Express by collecting furniture and designing cozy areas like a bedroom and bathroom using Express Funds earned through tasks.
