Arrowhead Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment are gearing up for the release of the Truth Enforcers Warbond, a premium content update for Helldivers 2. This substantial addition, launching October 31st, 2024, promises a significant arsenal upgrade for players.

This Warbond functions similarly to a battle pass, utilizing earned Medals to unlock exclusive items. Unlike typical battle passes, however, these Warbonds are permanently accessible after purchase, allowing players to unlock content at their own pace. The Truth Enforcers Warbond will be available for 1,000 Super Credits via the Acquisitions Center in the Destroyer ship's menu.

The update centers around upholding the Ministry of Truth's ideals. Players will receive access to new weapons, armor, and cosmetics.

New weaponry includes the PLAS-15 Loyalist Plasma Pistol (semi-automatic or charged shots), the SMG-32 Reprimand (high-speed submachine gun), and the SG-20 Halt shotgun (alternating stun and armor-piercing rounds).

Two new armor sets are also included: the UF-16 Inspector (light armor with a "Proof of Faultless Virtue" cape) and the UF-50 Bloodhound (medium armor featuring a "Pride of the Whistleblower" cape). Both sets boast the Unflinching perk, reducing stagger from incoming damage.

A new booster, Dead Sprint, allows continued sprinting and diving even after stamina depletion, at the cost of health.

While Helldivers 2 initially saw a high concurrent player count on Steam (458,709), followed by a decline due to initial account linking restrictions, the game's player base has shown some recovery. The Truth Enforcers Warbond aims to further boost player engagement and reignite the fight for Super Earth. The impact of this new content on player numbers remains to be seen.
