Set in 1898 at the ominous Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast, Maid of Sker plunges players into a world of dark secrets and spine-tingling Welsh hymns. Drawing inspiration from Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sger (The Maid of Sker), the game creates a truly unsettling atmosphere.
Players assume the role of Thomas Evans, drawn to the hotel by his girlfriend, Elisabeth Williams, to investigate her family's strange behavior. However, the unsettling truth soon emerges: the hotel is under the control of the sinister 'Quiet Ones.'
These enemies are blind but possess acutely sensitive hearing. The slightest sound will alert them, making stealth paramount. Forget blasting your way out; survival hinges on silent movement and strategic evasion. Think A Quiet Place, but with a Welsh twist.
