Pokémon GO's Halloween event, Part 1, is launching soon! Niantic has revealed exciting details, including spooky encounters and new features. Get ready for some Halloween fun!
The event runs from Tuesday, October 22nd, at 10:00 a.m. local time, until Monday, October 28th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
What's New?
Morpeko makes its Pokémon GO debut! This Electric/Dark-type Pokémon has a unique ability: it switches between Full Belly and Hangry Modes mid-battle, changing its Aura Wheel attack (100 power) from Electric to Dark type while boosting Attack in both modes.
During the event, Morpeko will appear more frequently in the GO Battle League's premium track, and afterwards will be available from Rank 16, though more common in premium battles.

Enjoy Halloween-themed decorations and a remix of the classic Lavender Town music playing nightly!
A free Timed Research event (October 22nd to November 3rd) focuses on Spiritomb and its 108 spirits. Completing tasks rewards encounters with Halloween Pokémon, including Spiritomb and Morpeko.
