How To Unlock the A Prize Held High Trophy/Achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds
You might initially think the trophy involves dragons or wyverns, but the real target here is the elusive Curioshell Crab. To catch this creature, you'll need to use your Capture Net.
Finding the Curioshell Crab can be tricky since it appears across various maps. Our go-to spot has been the Scarlet Forest. From the base camp, head to Area 6: Flowering Rocks pop-up camp, which lies between Areas 2 and 6.

Once you're at Flowering Rocks, check the nearby puddle of water—a prime spawning spot for the Curioshell Crab. If it's hard to spot, Alma can help. She'll mention if a creature nearby is holding something, signaling the presence of a Curioshell Crab.
Equip your Capture Net, aim carefully until the reticle turns orange, and fire to capture the crab. Success here means you'll snag both a Curioshell Crab and an Ancient Wyvern Coin.
The Curioshell Crab moves quickly, so anticipate its path and fire ahead of it to ensure a successful capture. Besides the Scarlet Forest, you might also find it in Area 13 of the Windward Plains or Area 8 of the Scarlet Forest. Keep in mind, it could appear in other map areas as well, but these are our confirmed hotspots.
