Originally introduced during the Fly the Falcon Mount campaign, which celebrated the launch of the *Stormblood* expansion in Summer 2017, the Falcon mount was a reward for players who maintained a subscription for at least 90 days during the campaign. Once the campaign concluded, the mount became unobtainable, leaving many newer players disappointed as they missed out on this exclusive reward.
How to Get the Falcon Mount in FFXIV

Fortunately, there's now a new way to acquire this coveted mount. The recurring Moogle Treasure Trove event offers players a chance to earn various rewards, including the elusive Falcon mount. During the current Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event, you can obtain the **Falcon Ignition Key** as one of the event's top rewards.
To participate in the event and earn rewards, you must complete any of the qualifying duties within the game. Even activities like GATEs at the Gold Saucer in Ul’dah contribute to your progress. Additionally, the Mogpendium offers special challenges, including weekly challenges and the one-time Ultimog challenge, which can boost your rewards.
By completing these tasks, you'll earn Tomestones of Phantasmagoria, the event's special currency. You can then exchange these Tomestones with the Initerant Moogle NPC, located in all three main cities, for your desired rewards. The Falcon mount requires **50 x Tomestones of Phantasmagoria**.
The Moogle Treasure Trove Phantasmagoria event will run until the release of Patch 7.2, scheduled for **March 25**. This gives you a limited window to secure the Falcon mount before the next Moogle Treasure Trove event, so make sure to seize the opportunity.
