Conquer the King of the Monsters in Fortnite! Godzilla stomps onto the Battle Royale Island, offering one lucky player per match the chance to become the iconic kaiju. This guide details how to become Godzilla and how to defeat him.
Becoming Godzilla:
Starting January 17th, 2025, a rift will randomly appear on the island in each match. Be the first to locate and enter this rift to transform into Godzilla!
Find a portal ➡️ become Godzilla!
Once transformed, unleash Godzilla's devastating abilities: the Roar (reveals nearby players), the Mighty Stomp Attack (sends opponents flying), and the powerful Heat Ray. However, be warned: the entire lobby will be hunting you!
Defeating Godzilla:
For the 99 players who didn't become Godzilla, the challenge begins! Epic Games has strategically placed weak points on Godzilla. Focus your fire on these areas to cause Godzilla to drop Fragments, providing 40 health and three dash charges. Mobility is key; utilize dashes effectively.
The Rail Gun makes a return for this event, offering a potent damage output. High-rarity weapons are also highly effective. The player inflicting the most damage on Godzilla receives the coveted Godzilla Medallion (with a dash ability) and the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Even if you don't become Godzilla, defeating him offers a rewarding experience and bragging rights.
