With temperatures rising, everyone's looking for ways to cool down. In Japan, a popular tradition involves sharing eerie tales and engaging in chilling activities to escape the heat. It seems Goddess of Victory: Nikke is embracing this concept with its latest summer event, Boom! The Ghost!, launching on July 17th!
This new storyline, part of the broader Summer Season event, tasks you with exploring an abandoned cruise liner on the Surface. What begins as a simple reconnaissance mission soon spirals into a series of paranormal encounters, forcing your squad to develop specialized ghost-hunting gear to resolve the mysterious disturbances.
The ship isn't just haunted—it also hosts two brand-new SSR characters: Dorothy: Serendipity and Elegg: Boom and Shock. Each arrives with their own motives: one seeks to recover precious wings, while the other aims to uncover the vessel's hidden secrets.
Everyone enjoys the summer sun
Naturally, summer in Goddess of Victory: Nikke wouldn't be complete without swimsuits. Four fan-favorite swimwear sets from past summer events are making a comeback, joined by three all-new outfits.
Even if swimsuits aren't your focus, there's plenty more to experience. The event introduces a challenging new boss fight and a mini-game. Additionally, look forward to the free Melodies of Victory concert on YouTube, the Doro Family Tour (running July 18th–25th), and Nikke's appearance at Anime NYC (August 21st–24th) in the coming months.
