GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM’s Gacha System: A Comprehensive Guide
GIRLS’ FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM, the eagerly awaited sequel, introduces a revamped gameplay experience, including a refined Gacha system for acquiring characters (T-dolls) and weapons. Mastering this system is crucial for building a powerful squad. This guide details the Gacha mechanics and banner types.
Understanding the Gacha Mechanics
The Gacha system utilizes a randomized loot box model. Summons, using various in-game currencies (including event-specific currencies), yield characters and weapons. Rarity probabilities are as follows:
- SSR T-dolls/Weapons: 0.3%
- SR T-dolls/Weapons: 3%
All banners offer a mixed pool of T-dolls and weapons. Let's explore the banner types:
Beginner Procurement Banner
Designed for new players, this banner offers a significant advantage. While limited to 50 pulls, it guarantees an SSR T-doll within those 50 pulls via a pity system activating within the final ten pulls if one hasn't been obtained.
This banner boasts increased drop rates:
- SSR T-dolls: 0.6%
- SR T-dolls/Weapons: 6%
The pity system also guarantees an SR character or weapon every 10 pulls and an SSR character every 80 pulls. A second SSR pull (after the first) will always be the featured character (hard pity at 160 pulls). Soft pity starts at the 58th pull. Note that pity does not carry over to other banners.
