Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Progression Guide
Your primary objective in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium is to swiftly advance through the story campaign and elevate your Commander level to 30. Reaching this level unlocks key features such as PvP and Boss Fights, both of which offer substantial rewards. This guide will walk you through the steps necessary to achieve this, along with advice on how to effectively manage your stamina.
Reroll
For free-to-play (F2P) players, rerolling at the game's launch is highly recommended to secure a solid start. Aim to obtain Suomi from the rate-up character banner, and either Qiongjiu or Tololo from the standard or discounted beginner's banner. Securing Suomi and another SSR DPS unit will set you up for a strong beginning.
Push Through the Story
Focus initially on the story campaign, bypassing side battles. Prioritize campaign missions until you reach a point where further progress requires a higher Commander level, then shift your focus temporarily.
Do Your Summons as Necessary
As you progress through missions, you'll accumulate summon tickets and Collapse Pieces. Use these wisely; reserve Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners and utilize standard summon tickets on the standard banner to acquire additional SSR characters.
Limit Break and Level Up
Your characters' levels are linked to your account level. Whenever your Commander level increases, visit the Fitting Room to enhance your Dolls and upgrade their weapons. At level 20, you'll need to farm Stock Bars via Supply Missions to break through this level cap.
Concentrate on your main team of four Dolls, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu or Tololo, and consider adding Sharkry and Ksenia for the remaining slots. Adjust as needed if you have Tololo.
Do the Event Missions
Upon reaching level 20, engage in event missions. These time-limited missions provide Collapse Pieces and event currency. Aim to complete all Normal missions and at least the first Hard mission daily to maximize your event currency earnings, which can be spent in the event shop on summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, and other valuable resources.
Dispatch Room and Affinity
Like many gacha games, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium features an affinity system. Increase your Dolls' affinity levels by giving them gifts in the Dormitory. Higher affinity levels unlock Dispatch missions, which offer additional resources, including Wish Coins for a separate gacha system and potential copies of Perithya. The Dispatch shop also offers summon tickets and other useful items, making it a crucial area to manage regularly.
Boss Fights and Combat Exercise
Focus next on Boss Fights and Combat Exercise modes. Boss Fights require you to defeat a boss within a set number of turns, with increasing difficulty. A team comprising Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry is recommended for these battles.
Combat Exercise serves as the game's PvP mode, where you won't lose points for losing defenses. Strategically set a weaker defense to help other players while you accumulate points by attacking easier targets.
Hard Mode Campaign Missions
Once you've cleared all Normal mode campaign missions, tackle Hard mode and side battles. While these won't grant Commander experience, they do reward Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
