Entry Requirements:
- Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
- Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. Completing Xianyun's Story Quest "Grus Serena Chapter" adds context, as Shuyu features in it.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The event utilizes a simplified battle system within your Serenitea Pot at Mt. Aocang. You control an Onikabuto beetle using basic forward, backward, and jump controls. Stamina management is key; movement and attacks consume stamina. Master the timing of Piercing Strikes (held attack) for maximum damage.
Stage-Specific Strategies:
Here's a breakdown of each stage's opponent and effective tactics:
- Staff Master (Basic Hilichurl): Repeated headshots are effective. Dodge ground markings indicating attacks.
- Torch-Wielding Berserker (Hilichurl Berserker): Target the head; the Pyro Slime it carries is also a vulnerable point, especially during its throw animation.
- Pyro Abyss Mage: Interrupt its incantations to prevent attacks, then unleash a flurry of hits.
- Cryo Abyss Mage: Employ the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
- Stonehide Lawachurl: Prioritize speed and dodge its attacks. A Geo Slime will appear; use a Piercing Strike for significant damage.
Difficulty and Rewards:
Choose "Focused Fight" (two-star difficulty) for optimal Primogem rewards (30-20 per stage). "Utmost Might" (three-star) offers Mora and Enhancement Ores but no Primogems. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for enemy information. Co-op mode allows teaming up with other players.
Total Rewards:
Complete all stages on "Focused Fight" for a substantial Primogem reward. Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore. "Utmost Might" yields a larger total of 420 Primogems.
