Event Entry Requirements:
To participate in Exercise Surging Storm, you must:
- Achieve at least Adventure Rank 20.
- Complete the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue.
Begin the event at the Knights of Favonius Headquarters in Mondstadt.
Gameplay Overview:
The event starts with helpful tutorials. Don't be intimidated; it's easier than it appears.
Before each wargame, select Combat Units (your troops) and Stratagems (buffs). Units have various types (AoE Damage, Flying, Ranged, Melee), each with strengths and weaknesses (e.g., Melee counters Ranged).
Analyze your opponent's lineup before the battle. The bottom-right diagram shows unit effectiveness, allowing you to strategically adjust your team. However, lineup changes cost Reinforcement Points, so use them judiciously.
Unit Types Explained:
- Melee Units: High damage absorption, but slow.
- Ranged Units: Attack from a distance, but low health.
- AoE DMG Units: Deal damage to groups of units.
- Flying Units: Evade ground attacks, immune to certain damage types.
