Some video games get your heart racing and your blood pressure soaring. That's what makes them thrilling. Others, however, slow your pulse and guide you into a state of meditative calm. These games are equally fantastic. Frike, the debut Android game from indie developer chakahacka, uniquely blends both experiences into one.

The objective in Frike is straightforward: survive as long as possible. You control a floating triangle split into purple, orange, and green segments. Two virtual buttons on the left side of the screen allow you to ascend and descend, while a button on the right rotates your triangular avatar.

Despite having only one level, Frike is far from a small game. This level is infinite, ensuring you'll never reach an end. Scattered throughout Frike's moody, abstract world are blocks in white, purple, orange, and green. To score points, you must rotate your triangle so its corners align with matching colored squares.

Some squares contain bonus effects that slow you down, giving you more time to align with the next square. Frike exemplifies a minimalist arcade casual game. If you're chasing a high score, it can be intense, but if you're looking to relax, you can simply navigate around obstacles and soak in the ambiance.

Complementing its understated visuals, Frike features a soothing soundtrack filled with echoey chimes and metallic tinkles. If this sounds appealing, you can download Frike for free from the Google Play Store right now.
