Fortnite Accidentally Re-Releases Paradigm Skin: Players Get to Keep the Loot
On August 6th, Fortnite players were stunned to find the highly sought-after Paradigm skin unexpectedly back in the item shop. This skin, a limited-time exclusive from Chapter 1 Season X, hadn't been available for purchase in five years.
Fortnite initially attributed the skin's return to a bug, announcing plans to remove it from players' Lockers and provide refunds. However, a significant community backlash prompted a swift change of heart.
Just two hours later, Fortnite tweeted that players who purchased the Paradigm skin during this accidental re-release could keep it. Their statement read: "Bought Paradigm tonight? You can keep her. Her accidental return to the Shop is on us... so if you purchased The Paradigm during this evening's rotation, you can keep this Outfit and we'll refund your V-Bucks soon-ish."
To preserve the exclusivity for those who originally owned the skin, Fortnite committed to creating a unique, new variant exclusively for them.
