Fortnite x Monsterverse: Boss Fights, Mechagodzilla, and Kong Revealed

It's no secret that Fortnite fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Godzilla skin, set to launch on January 17. However, the excitement has reached new heights as all details about the collaboration with Monsterverse have recently surfaced online. Thanks to Epic Games' latest update, dataminers have uncovered the full scope of what players can expect.

In addition to the standard Godzilla skin available through the battle pass, players will have the opportunity to purchase a special set from the Fortnite store featuring Mechagodzilla and Kong. This set will not only include the iconic characters but also come with unique jet packs and custom pickaxes designed specifically for each skin, enhancing the immersive experience of the game.

On January 17, Fortnite will also introduce a thrilling new boss event. During this event, one player on the map will transform into an oversized Godzilla, wielding its formidable atomic breath ability. Players must band together to take down this colossal creature. The player who inflicts the most damage on Godzilla throughout the battle will be rewarded with a medallion that grants a unique ability, adding a competitive edge to the challenge.

The Mechagodzilla and Kong set will be available in the Fortnite store at the usual time, with the following pricing:

  • Kong: 1500 V-bucks
  • Mechagodzilla: 1,800 V-bucks
  • Two pickaxes: 800 V-bucks each
  • One Emote: 400 V-bucks
  • Two Wraps: 500 V-bucks each
  • Complete Set: 2800 V-bucks

Fortnite continues to be a hub for a diverse range of entertainers and artists. Fans may soon have the opportunity to encounter the popular Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, in the game. Recent social media interactions have sparked interest, especially after the Hatsune Miku account mentioned a missing backpack, to which the Fortnite Festival account playfully responded that they had it.

Alongside the standard Vocaloid skin, players can look forward to a stylized pickaxe, a variant of the "Miku the Catgirl" skin, and the chance to experience a virtual Hatsune Miku concert, adding a musical flair to the Fortnite universe.
