A prominent Fortnite data miner recently hinted at an upcoming collaboration between Fortnite and the anime series Kaiju No. 8. This news follows the January 17th arrival of Godzilla, obtainable via the Chapter 6 Season 1 battle pass. Godzilla's cosmetics won't be available in the Item Shop.
Following the Winterfest event and the first major 2025 update, Epic Games introduced several new features. These include using Fortnite Festival instruments as back blings and pickaxes, expanding instrument use across game modes, and a new local co-op mode for Fortnite Festival. These updates coincide with numerous rumors regarding future features and crossovers.
A popular leaker, HYPEX, tweeted about a potential Kaiju No. 8 and Fortnite collaboration. Kaiju No. 8, which started as a manga and received an anime adaptation in 2024 (with a second season slated for 2025), follows Kafka Hibino, who gains kaiju-transforming abilities after a parasitic encounter. If the leak is accurate, Kaiju No. 8 would join other anime like Dragon Ball Z in Fortnite.

Beyond Kaiju No. 8, multiple sources suggest a Demon Slayer crossover is also in the works. While both anime collaborations remain unconfirmed, speculation points towards new cosmetics in the Item Shop, and possibly even in-game character representations.
Additional leaks indicate the potential addition of more MonsterVerse characters, including King Kong and Mechagodzilla, to accompany Godzilla. With a wealth of upcoming content, anticipation for Epic Games' 2025 plans is high among players.
