Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix to the MCU as Daredevil has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to return to the role, stating at LaConve in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, "I’m here and I’m ready."
Jones last played Danny Rand in Season 2 of the Iron Fist Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil/Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the less favorable reception to his portrayal of Iron Fist compared to the other Defenders, Jones remains hopeful and open to criticism.
The integration of Daredevil into the MCU has fueled hopes for a revival of The Defenders, with recent reports suggesting Marvel is "exploring" this possibility. At the anime convention, Jones addressed the critiques of his performance, saying, "There is a willingness for the fans to see that happen. There’s a lot of willingness for the fans to see that not happen as well. I’m very aware of the critiques of the character and my role in it. My response to that is like, give me a f***ing chance, man. I’m here and I’m ready. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."

With Daredevil: Born Again continuing the story from the Netflix series, and the inclusion of other Netflix characters like Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, the entire Defenders saga is now part of the official MCU canon on Disney+. This development has fans and actors alike hopeful for more comebacks and new adventures within the Marvel universe.
