Farlight Games' Ace Trainer Enters Soft Launch

Farlight Games, fresh off their successful 2024 collaboration with Lilith Games on AFK Journey, has a new mobile title in soft launch: Ace Trainer. This unique blend of tower defense, pinball mechanics, and creature collection defies easy categorization.

Following their AFK Journey success, Farlight's 2025 lineup includes Ace Trainer, currently in soft launch in South Korea and the US. The game features the collection, training, and leveling of fantastical creatures, reminiscent of Pokémon, but with a zombie-infested twist. Instead of turn-based battles, players utilize their creatures in tower defense scenarios. Pinball elements are also integrated, allowing players to strategically acquire resources.

While the game's eclectic mix of genres – PvP, PvE, tower defense, and pinball – might seem overwhelming, it also holds significant appeal. The inclusion of popular mechanics suggests a broad market reach, although the long-term viability of such a diverse gameplay experience remains to be seen. The multi-region soft launch, however, hints at Farlight's ambitious plans for Ace Trainer.
