Tin Man Games has enriched the Fighting Fantasy Classics series with the addition of "Eye of the Dragon," now available on all digital platforms, including Android, iOS, and Steam for both PC and Mac. If you're a fan of old-school dungeon crawls, this title offers a nostalgic journey back to the classics.
This Marks Its Official Digital Debut!
This marks the first digital availability of the book since 2010. Penned by Ian Livingstone, the co-creator of the series, "Eye of the Dragon" originally hit the shelves in 2005 as part of the Wizard Books reboot. Interestingly, its origins trace back to a mini-adventure in "Dicing with Dragons." With this release, "Eye of the Dragon" becomes the 19th title in the Fighting Fantasy Classics library.
In "Eye of the Dragon," you dive into a classic monster-filled maze beneath Darkwood Forest. Your mission? Survive the perils and find the Golden Dragon, the most coveted treasure in Allansia. Your adventure begins in a tavern in Fang, where a mysterious stranger presents you with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, albeit at the risky cost of drinking a potentially lethal potion.
The dungeon is a labyrinth of dangers and treasures, featuring deadly traps, magical artifacts, scattered jewels, and numerous creatures with sharp teeth. Along your journey, you'll encounter an imprisoned dwarf who might be more than just another non-playable character (NPC).
Eye of the Dragon in Fighting Fantasy Classics Isn’t Just a Static Copy of the Book
Tin Man Games has enhanced the digital version with user-friendly features. You can choose from adjustable difficulty modes and opt for a Free Read mode if you prefer to explore without engaging in combat. An auto-mapping feature ensures you won't lose your way in the labyrinth. Additionally, you have access to unlimited bookmarks and an adventure sheet that keeps track of your stats and equipment.
"Eye of the Dragon" joins the ranks of other iconic titles in the series such as "The Warlock of Firetop Mountain," "Deathtrap Dungeon," "Assassins of Allansia," "The Port of Peril," along with "Bloodbones," "Forest of Doom," "House of Hell," and "Trial of Champions."
Tin Man Games has more titles in the pipeline, so be sure to explore Fighting Fantasy Classics on the Google Play Store. Meanwhile, don't miss out on the latest news about Pikmin Bloom's Earth Day Event.
