Transporting players to a medieval setting, The Dark Ages promises a distinct gameplay experience from its predecessors. Players will embody a powerful, tank-like combatant, a far cry from the frenetic, parkour-heavy action of DOOM: Eternal. Expect grounded combat utilizing a robust arsenal to obliterate hordes of demons.
Central to this demon-slaying arsenal are a shield and mace. A standout feature introduces a massive mech suit for engaging smaller demons, and the campaign even includes the opportunity to ride a dragon.
The game boasts a customizable difficulty system, allowing players to fine-tune the challenge by adjusting enemy damage and other parameters.
