What is Donkey Kong Country Returns HD?
This isn't the first re-release for Donkey Kong Country Returns. Following its 2010 Wii debut, Nintendo released a 3DS version in 2013, featuring eight exclusive levels. This HD release includes all original Wii levels plus those eight additional 3DS levels.
The game maintains its challenging gameplay. However, this version offers an easier mode (originally from the 3DS release), providing extra hearts and assistance for those seeking a less demanding experience.
Expect classic platforming action: navigating treacherous pits, swinging on vines, barrel blasting, banana collecting, and much more. Two-player couch co-op is also available upon finding Diddy Kong.
