Torchlight: Infinite’s eighth season, Sandlord, is now live and it's the game's most expansive season yet. It introduces a host of new features that dramatically alter the gameplay, inviting players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The standout feature of this season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you get to manage. You'll be collecting resources from the Netherrealm and converting them into tangible benefits by allocating workers to five different professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, boosts, and seasonal rewards, blending the traditional ARPG combat with elements of a strategy simulation.
Thea, previously known as the divine channeler, has undergone a sinister transformation into the Blasphemer. She no longer bestows blessings but instead spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also received a significant update, introducing five new stages teeming with monsters and survival challenges. Additionally, a new item called Probes has been added. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy a unique slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty of your adventures.

The endgame experience is enriched with several new Legendary Stages, which, though rare, offer unique loot configurations that can significantly impact your strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, deviate from the norm by being devoid of enemies and filled instead with Mystery Chests ready to be opened.
Conversely, the Sea of Rites presents a swarm of goblins that do not attack but can be defeated to potentially summon a secret boss. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to use it. A well-timed hit can transform enemies directly into treasure.
Celebrating its second anniversary, Torchlight: Infinite is now available on the Google Play Store, inviting players to jump into the latest season.
