Rec Room and Bungie are teaming up to bring Destiny 2 to a new audience with Destiny 2: Guardian Gauntlet. This exciting experience blends the sci-fi world of Destiny 2 with Rec Room's community-focused platform.
Destiny 2, the acclaimed FPS MMO from Bungie (launched in 2017), casts you as a Guardian wielding elemental powers to defend humanity across the solar system. Regular expansions and seasonal updates—like the recently launched "The Final Shape"—continuously expand the story and offer fresh content such as raids and dungeons.
Starting July 11th, Rec Room users can explore a meticulously recreated Destiny Tower, a beloved location from the game. Accessible on consoles, PC, VR, and mobile, this new experience lets you train as a Guardian, go on thrilling adventures, and connect with fellow Destiny 2 fans.
The experience also introduces cosmetic items based on the three Destiny classes: Hunter, Warlock, and Titan. The Hunter set and weapon skins are available now, with the Titan and Warlock sets launching in the coming weeks.
